We’ll be looking to you to provide tax counseling and communication for business operations and initiatives.  You will assist the Global Tax Planning and Tax Audits/Controversy Leader in preparation and responses to tax authorities’ inquires and be their first point of contact for tax planning/advice to ensure fit with global tax strategies and structures.  You will maintain extensive and effective network of regional tax advisers who can provide fast, accurate and cost-effective local tax advice/services.  You’ll stay abreast of regional tax policy initiatives/reforms and participate in developing tax-effective responses.

 

For such a detail-driven role, you’ll have 5 years of experience in domestic and international tax settings for tax consulting firm and/or “in-house.”  You will also have obtained your bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar business subject, with advance tax or law degree and CPA a plus.  You will have significant experience in cross border transaction, tax counseling on multi-national business operations and responding to tax authorities, Big 4 experience strongly preferred.  You’ll have demonstrated ability to communicate across different levels, adjusted based on audience.  You will have strong analytical skills, creative problem solver, strategic thinker and a good manager of external advisers.
