We’re seeking for a Salesforce Developer/ Systems Programmer, based in San Francisco, California office. In this role you will be involved in planning and implementing the Western Union Payment support systems. This will include the design and development of products based on the Western Union Salesforce ‘Orgs’ in support of our clients, sales, marketing and operations support teams. You will be participating in an enterprise-wide and innovation-driven approach to achieving our corporate vision of “moving money for better.”

  • Experience with Apex Triggers, Batch Classes and @Future Methods, Controllers
  • Designs, installs, implements, maintains, and troubleshoots operating systems software and related program products. Provides technical consulting on the use and integration of applications into the operating environment.
  • Ability to convert classic pages into Lightning based framework
  • Calling REST web services from Apex, generating and parsing JSON in Apex
  • Visualforce Pages Components and Remoting
  • Effective Apex unit testing, including web service mocking.
  • Javascript and jQuery, including effective Javascript design patterns; Javascript unit testing
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform Best Practices, Governor Limits and workarounds


What you will need to be succeed:

  • 2-5 years related IT experience needed.
  • Best practices of Salesforce system development and integration.
  • Financial sales and marketing systems.
  • Data.com match and search API experience a strong asset.
  • General Data.com product knowledge an asset.
  • Experience working with ecommerce and a knowledge of the sales and distribution business domain.
  • Financial compliance regulations, operations and validation.
  • Salesforce integration patterns, including application programming interfaces (API) and bulk data uploads.


What will make you stand out:

  • Hold a Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • Be a Salesforce Certified Developer (401)/Platform Developer I
  • Demonstrate a history of successful project execution.
  • Be a Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Optional – Good to have)
  • Be a Salesforce Certified Consultant (Service/Sales/both) (Optional – Good to have)
