We’re seeking a Senior Manager – Accounting, for our Business Solutions Segment, based in our Centennial, Colorado office (global headquarters). In this role, you will be primarily responsible for leading all activities related to the accounting for the Company’s foreign exchange business recorded through the global trading platform

  • Monthly close activities and coordination of necessary information for the Company’s SEC and other regulatory activities
  • Ensuring a SOX compliant or better internal control environment for this part of the business.
  • Accounting for foreign currency derivatives and for a trading business.
  • Oversee accounting related IT projects associated with business initiatives
  • Develop, motivate and retain top talent, providing a high level of mentorship that creates a strong environment that stimulates problem-solving and identifies and develops improved business practices
  • Keeping current on US GAAP and IFRS pronouncements


What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred

  • 10+ years financial accounting experience
  • 5+ years leadership experience
  • Strong Oracle experience
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills
  • Ability to successfully negotiate and influence with cross-functional peers
  • Able to provide verbal and written communication (including presentations) in a clear, concise and insightful manner
  • Highly organized, proactive and detail oriented
  • Strong systems skills including advanced Excel, Word, and Power Point

  • Experience in the foreign exchange industry preferred
  • Experience in a broker/dealer environment is also valued
  • Seasoned ability to work effectively with multiple levels within a complex matrix organization
  • Ability to building strong relationships and business partnering skills to support business initiatives.
  • Proficient in performing all duties inherent in a managerial role, including and developing direct and indirect reports
