We’re seeking a superstar Social Media Marketing Coordinator, based in our Taguig office. In this role as a coordinator, you’ll work within the global and regional marketing organizations while reporting in the Sydney office. Your position is primarily a regional role with colleagues throughout Asia Pacific but will also work with teams in USA and Europe.

 

Your key duty will require you to coordinate the development, design, production and copy writing of all social marketing and campaign materials for Western union.

 

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Social Media marketing coordinator to join our APAC digital team. You will develop and execute on the Social Media Community Management strategy and ensure that it supports overall brand goals and objectives, align with Social Care on Best Practices

  • Support social content and campaigns
  • Identify and develop rapport with influencers and advocates in support of the company’s brand aspirations and goals
  • Develop content strategy and plan for each local market and focus on diaspora centric content.
  • Work on local social content for Japan, Singapore, Korea, and Vietnam to name some
  • Guide and monitor semi - social care team on the weekly basis
  • Work with social care team to escalate, solve customer inquiries, when needed
  • Drive monthly reporting for community management and partner with Social Media Analytics Manager
  • Support the APAC Marketing Manager in managing and executing multi-channel digital campaigns
  • Work extensively with both internal and external state holders and build effective and strong relationships
  • Manage timelines and workflows, coordinate the roll out of campaign calendars
  • Preparing briefs, material instructions, dispatch of material, proofing, etc.
  • Monitor, track and report on campaigns, and provide recommendations for improvement where applicable
  • Assist in research, and building knowledge for campaigns team
  • Ensure we are at the forefront and implementing the best social marketing strategies
  • Provide Marketing administration support to the wider APAC team
 

What you will need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree holder in Marketing or with relevant work experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an executing content and conversational communications in the social media space for leading products brand or corporate brands
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Experience or strong exposure to campaign management with traditional and digital media campaigns
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to produce, interpret and segment data as it relates to marketing communications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels and from diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, to prioritize workload, and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and analytics
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and to take a proactive approach to provide out of the box solutions
