Better requires process, discipline, and simplification

We’ll look to you to lead the team of talented engineers on assessments of the new products and features that Western Union delivers to its customers. You ensure the program can adapt to changes in the technology environment, adopting agile methodologies and cloud deployment. You’ll also provide clear guidelines and management for issues, remediation and security risk ratings. Using your leadership skills, you will drive the team and manage initiatives to enhance the continuous monitoring of application security.

 

We need you to have a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience, with demonstrated knowledge of modern application security techniques, including application penetration testing and mitigation. You’ll use your advanced technical knowledge and extensive experience in the development of secure coding policies, procedures, and standards including tests to be executed before and after code commits.  You are familiar with Checkmarx, Synopsis, or other similar code-scanning tools. You are motivated, resolute, process-orientated and can steer your team successfully with your customer-centric mindset and service-orientated attitude. Previous experience of agile working methodologies is also desirable.
