You will be a part of our highly motivated team of credit risk specialists, working with the North American market in the North American shift. It will be your responsibility to contact Western Union’s agents to determine reasons for non-payment and obtain payment commitment. You’ll need to adapt your approach where required and confidently handle situations as well as to conduct extensive research depending on the agent’s response. You will be developing and implementing best collection practices and using a computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.
As you will be customer facing in this role, your excellent English language skills, and a customer-centric approach are paramount, moreover, fluency in the Spanish language will make you stand out. You need to be assertive, have advanced problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, multitasking skills and be driven to succeed. In order to fit into this high-achieving team, you need to be motivated and self-sufficient. If you also have previous accounting or collections work experience that would be ideal.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
