The Opportunity: Are you a successful B2B Sales person with experience in Financial Markets? Do you want to work for a leading global FinTech company? Western Union is further growing its Business to Business Sales division in Prague.


 


We’re seeking a Senior Business Development Manager, based in our Prague office. In this role, you will be selling Western Union’s Payment Solutions to businesses. Clients use our system to action payments more quickly, more cost-effective and more efficiently.  The Western Union Business Solutions arm has been growing continuously over the past few years.

  • Engage with businesses to sell the Western Union Business Solutions offering
  • Develop a deep understanding of how the currency exchange market works
  • Develop client relationships from scratch via phone and face to face meetings, guiding them through the sales process all the way to successfully closing the deal
  • Engage with financial professionals (CFO, Treasurer, Controller) within commercial businesses to understand their business payments needs both domestically and internationally and present tailored Western Union Business Solutions
  • Negotiate with customers in relation to fees, products and services
  • Control and maintain weekly and monthly forecasts of revenue from own portfolio clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Corporate Dealing Team, Back Office Operations and Business Support to help nurture and sustain new business opportunities


 


What you will need to succeed:


  • Successful track record of delivering B2B sales for a Financial Services organisation
  • Fluent in Czech and English
  • Understanding of Financial Markets
  • Being driven and motivated to develop new client relationships from scratch
  • Experience in successfully managing the full sales cycle, including lead generation and closing
  • Experience in and comfortable working within a target-driven environment
