We’re seeking a Senior Application Developer, based in our Vienna office. 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing IT Infrastructure & Information Security Services to internal and external customers. The role requires support of BAU and Projects and exists to protect the impact on business revenue and objectives in the event of a system outage.

  • Responsible for coding, testing and analyzing application software 
  • Supports existing business systems applications 
  • Consults with business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions 
  • Responsible for designing and documenting technical requirements for business applications 
  • To provide effective first and second line technical IT support services for banking applications used within a country/region(s) with specific focus on the core applications.
  • Supports complex project work and testing\UAT as and when required. 
  • May be required to develop codes as and when required to enhance or resolve issues with business systems
What you will need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience in IT
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing) 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of IT Development 
  • Deep knowledge and background on technologies and tools in order to design and deliver complex IT solutions
  • 3-5 years of experience in solution design
What will make you stand out:
  • 5+ years SQL coding experience; IT application planning
  • 7+ programming languages
  • Oracle DB knowledge

  • For this position we offer a market competitive compensation package, with a minimum annual gross salary of up to EUR 75,000 gross, and various benefits.  The salary is dependent on the level of skills, experience and qualifications that an individual can bring to the role.  We also welcome applications from more junior applicants.
