Better requires a committed and collaborative team working to protect sensitive data through process excellence and security architecture

In this role, you will assist in developing a security reference architecture and technical roadmap to help define the overall Cyber Security strategy. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing technologies and processes to ensure the security of sensitive data across a broad spectrum of on-premise and cloud platforms. You will work with data owners and application teams to utilize cryptographic data security methods such as encryption, tokenization, and data masking to minimize the exposure of sensitive data elements while also being a continuous learner, thought leader and expert consultant on security architecture and data protection methodologies.


Your responsibilities will include developing architecture and data protection strategies that balance the needs of security, privacy, legal, and business. You will also work closely with internal and external teams to implement data security methods, such as encryption, tokenization, key management, and API integration. Additionally, you will grow, guide, and develop an exceptional team of cybersecurity professionals.


For such a pivotal role, a bachelor’s degree is required along with ten-plus years of experience managing global teams and increasing responsibility. I addition you should have at least five-plus years experience implementing and governing data security technologies and processes as well as advanced knowledge of data protection methodologies.
