Right now, we are looking for a Risk Engineering .NET Developer based in San Francisco, CA who will work with a highly technical and dynamic team. This team will be responsible to build and maintain our next generation software.

  • Create complex conceptual designs including engineering interfaces and interactions.
  • Research, evaluate and plan technical solutions to business problems, including software evaluations.
  • Oversee implementation and adoption of new technology acquisition, including performing some hands-on engineering implementation.
  • Design integration scenarios for end-to-end system integration of new and existing solutions.
  • Proof of Concept – Evaluate various technologies, performing a proof of concept in each, and define the recommended solution.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture strategy and roadmaps, working with engineering partners and business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to creating a cohesive and reusable engineering architecture that optimizes for speed and value
  • Provide expert level support of the Digital engineering, risk and Big Data Platforms
  • Be responsible for migration of assigned platforms and processes as per project timelines and ensure smooth knowledge transfer in partnership with on-shore and offshore stakeholders
  • Partner with key stakeholders, both off-shore and on-shore, and delivering on the service level agreements 
What you will need to succeed:
  • 3+ years of software development and architecture experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering/Business with an emphasis in Information Technology is preferred
  • Experience developing a common architecture vision with IT and line of business leaders.
  • Ability to implement shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows. Ensure that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies.
  • Knowledge of technical frameworks, methodologies, industry standards and specifications
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM SDLC Methodology
  • Working experience with full stack .Net development (C#, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, WCF, environment set up and deployment)
  • Working experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience – S3, EC2, VPC, Lambda, RDS, Dynamo DB, etc
  • Experience in developing Cloud based .NET applications in AWS
  • API design and development including ReST, Soap, XML/JSON and Web API2
  • Working experience with Database schema design (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle) 
What will make you stand out: 
  • Extensive system design experience in business event-driven transactions
  • Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) experience is a plus. Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCP) are a plus.
  • MVC (model-view-controller), code control (e.g. TFS, GIT) and PowerShell skills
  • SQL procedural programming experience
  • Experience with Financial system integrations
  • Experience in Couchbase or NoSQL
  • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices
  • Active Directory Security and .NET Security/Cryptography
  • Rule engine design and development (e.g. Drools, Blaze, etc.) is a huge plus
  • Messaging middleware experience (e.g. TIBCO, N-Service Bus) is a huge plus
  • Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 or higher is a huge plus
  • Knowledge of Big Data and distributed systems, including data storage and management, searching, scheduling, logging, serialization, and modelling technologies
  • Knowledge of graph databases (eg: Neo4J)
