The Opportunity: Are you interested in owning and executing the Quality Assurance program for the Know Your Customer Accreditation and Re-accreditation programs for the Singapore and Hong Kong region? We’re seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance, based in our Singapore office. In this role, you will be responsible for oversight of the Accreditation function in EUROC and AROC covering a variety of jurisdictions where Western Union Business Solutions is licensed to offer services. You will be required to stay up to date with relevant legislation and what is happening in the regulatory environment and how this may impact the business. You will also be required to work closely with global colleagues to ensure consistency of approach and sharing of best practices.

 

In addition, you will own responsibility for contributing to global Compliance policies and translating those policies into practical application; ensuring proportionate and relevant controls are in place to monitor adherence. You will also support the EUROC and AROC Accreditation function to implement such controls and the update of team level procedures and tools.

  • Maintain a QA programme for the Accreditation and Reaccreditation function among other Operations areas
  • Provide support and guidance on complex queries.
  • Maintain oversight of key functions to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of controls, recommending and supporting changes as required.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of procedures.
  • Contribute to local and global projects as required.
  • Support the wider Global Operations Implementation Team when required.
  • Contribution to internal and external audits/regulatory exams as applicable.
 
 
 
What you will need to succeed:
  • 5-7+ years’ experience in quality assurance, customer onboarding processes and regional regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Anti-Money Laundering Regulations and the ability to apply them in a business environment
  • Ability to identify key stakeholders and build strong internal relationships
  • Ability to identify and implement ways of improving efficiency
  • Strong leadership skills and capable of being self-driven and highly motivated.
  • Strong coaching, developing and training skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize appropriately.

  • You have worked in FX or Financial Services before.
  • Quality Assurance experience. 
  • Educated to degree level.
