We’re seeking a Copywriter to join our internal created team based in our Vilnius office. As part of this Manager level position you will be responsible for leading a team of copywriters to write persuasive brand content for a number of creative campaigns that span over a variety of media: print, web, TV, email, and social media.

 

Sounds interesting? Here are some specifics:

  • Ensure the consistency of copywriting conventions and practices across the global team to make sure WU brand communicates in one voice.
  • Develop and coach the existing team; hire and onboard new copywriters providing them with all the necessary training.
  • Assign the projects identifying the best resources for each project and help the team plan the workload and follow the deadlines. 
  • Identify and proactively solve or escalate different issues, areas for improvement and challenges. 
  • Amend, revise or re-develop copy or content in response to the feedback from the clients and internal managers. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in branding, marketing, advertising, and related communications industries, as well as make sure that provided copy meets the high brand standards and the WU tone of voice. 
  • Help organizing presentations and describing the concepts and ideas before presenting to the client.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Fluency in the English language; 
  • Extensive experience in writing good, clear copy in a variety of styles with impeccable grammar;
  • A creative sense of storytelling, enthusiasm for creating great content, and the ability to turn boring content into colorful copy;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Commercial awareness combined with an ability to understand the target audience;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments;
  • Positive outlook and an ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback;
  • Ability to adapt, accuracy and attention to detail;
  • A proven, solid record of written works.

  • A university degree in the English Language/Creative writing/Journalism or other related field;
  • Experience in working for an advertising agency and developing creative ideas
  • Experience in leading and coaching a team
