In this role you will act as a strategic partner between Western Union and its corporate client portfolio by being responsible for the sales large corporations such as banks and financial institutions. We’ll look to you to develop, maintain and improve relationships with our clients and expect you to work in a cross-functional team to translate customer needs and business directions into solutions. You will be both account manager and business developer for Western Union’s retail network.


You will have outstanding negotiation skills, gained through your solid sales background in both business development and account management. Experience selling to large corporations, banks or financial institutions highly beneficial. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in German and English are required for this position, and ideally another language of a country neighbouring Austria.


Western Union is changing its current sales operating model for Central Europe and will pool its sales functions, and assign the sales employee to various countries in and around Austria, based on business needs and language skills.

We are under legal obligation to indicate the minimum basic salary, which is EUR 54,750 gross per year for this position plus commission. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
