Senior Application Architect (Java Architect) – Denver, CO

Better requires process discipline and simplification

We’ll be looking to you to work closely with product owners, business / systems analyst daily on large scale design, architecture and technical designs. You will be collaborating with other architects in the team and contributes to broad range Global Payments product architecture, design patterns, tools/framework selection and non-functional requirements. You will create innovative solutions to solve business challenges and enables rapid product development working closely with onsite and offshore Scrum Teams. You will be designing and developing large scale customer facing enterprise Java applications that are internet facing responsive UI. You’ll keep up with changing technical landscape and be a mentor to teams while contributing with hands on design and development deliverables.


For such a detail-driven role, you’ll have strong experience in architecting Java, Enterprise Java, commercial software development experience, customer facing digital experiences. You will use your ability in developing and deploying microservices in public Cloud Environment. You will need hands on experience in Core JAVA, J2EE & Object-Oriented Design concepts, RDBMS & NOSQL, J2EE APIs like JPA, JTA, JMS, JDBC etc. You’ll have expertise in Core Java including large scale complex design, exception handling, Collections Framework, abstraction, inheritance etc. You will have strong working experience in Spring framework including dependency injection, IOC, Springboot etc., experience in containerization, AWS API Gateway.
