Right now, we are seeking an IT Delivery Manager based in our Montvale, NJ location.

 

The Delivery Manager position is part of our Information Technology team. As a Delivery manager he/she will be responsible for partnering with the IT Business Unit Directors and business stakeholders in establishing and leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional and strategic initiatives and working with onsite and offshore teams to deliver on solutions.

  • Working with the IT Business Unit Directors and Business Leadership to understand business strategy and direction and to propose solutions that address business needs and challenges
  • Managing onsite and offshore coordination and delivery of the solutions
  • Managing project demand from intake, discovery, planning, scheduling, staffing and development through to production deployment
  • Managing a mixed team of employees, onshore and offshore contractors located throughout the US and internationally
  • Ensures the projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Ensures frequent, continuous and effective communications with team members, within IT, and with stakeholders to set expectations and negotiate priorities appropriately, via both formal and informal channels / mechanisms.
  • Manage all projects (small, large), track issues and closure associated with the portfolio of responsibility
What you will need to succeed:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience     
  • Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects
  • Extensive experience delivering projects in onshore/offshore model
  • Project management for waterfall and/or agile SDLC’s (SCRUM certification preferred)
  • Managing project budgets and accurate estimations Identify and mitigate risks and issues quickly to avoid impact to programs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Projects, Visio)
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity
  • Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization from the technical developer up to C-level executives
  • Ability to navigate a highly diverse organization effectively
  • Experience with stakeholder and demand management
  • Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing at all levels, with clarity and precision
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
  • Proven track record with delivering projects on time and on budget
