We are seeking an Information Security Analyst based at Western Union’s global headquarters in Englewood, Colorado.

  •  You will conduct risk assessments of information systems and suppliers utilizing strong policy and process knowledge as well as skills and expertise with a variety of technologies.
  • You will assess third party suppliers of outsourced services.
  • You will partner with sales organization to support client inquires of Western Unions information security posture.
  • You will manage remediation plans associated with findings found during assessments.
  • You will interact with management frequently and some travel may be required. 

In addition, you will: 

  • Demonstrate knowledge of a broad range of risk assessment / management concepts to include:
    • Risk Assessment / Auditing Methodologies and Approaches Information Security Policies, Standards and Procedures PCI Standards ISO 2700x Standards
  • Demonstrate knowledge of a broad range of technology / security concepts to include:
    • Security Architecture and Design Network Security Cryptography
  • Perform supplier risk assessment planning & execution
  • Assist Sales team with Client information security requests
  • Plan, schedule and complete security assessment engagements in accordance with a defined assessment methodology
  • Conduct supplier / vendor onsite assessments
  • Prepare work papers, standard reports and customized reports showing results of the assessment / audit assignments in accordance with defined standards
  • Produce assessment reports that document assessment findings as well as risks and recommendations
  • Manage risk remediation plans
What you will need to succeed: 
  • 2+ years of related Information Security experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
  • CISA certification required or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security concepts and best practices as they pertain to information systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the business, market and industry; ability to bridge business knowledge with technology / security.
  • Must possess the ability to do business with an absolute commitment to the ethics, honesty and credibility that is essential in this role.
  • The ability to partner with our employees, Agents and the organizations that support our business is critical to both the success of the individual and the business.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
