Better requires process discipline and simplification

We will be operating within the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of the Global AML Compliance Department. You will identifies, evaluates, reports and mitigate money laundering and terrorist financing risks to Western Union. You will be a part of the Strategic Intelligence Program is uniquely responsible for tackling the department’s most complex, widespread and high risk threat issues.


For such a detail-driven role, you’ll have 3+ years of intelligence analysis experience, with strong data analytic skills and preferably some experience with SQL coding and/or tools such as Alteryx. You’ll likely have some experience conducting financial crime investigation or threat finance analysis in a national security, law enforcement or financial intelligence organization. You will hold a Bachelor’s degree. You will have strong critical thinking skills and an ability to synthesize multiple sources and types of information to developed analytic judgements and accurately express varying levels of confidence based on the quality, consistency and availability of source information. You’ll need to be a collaborative team player with high level of comfort in a dynamic work environment.
