Better requires process, discipline, and simplification

In this exciting and fast-paced role you’ll provide valuable support to the Chief People Officer at Western Union’s Global Headquarters in Denver, using your advanced administrative and project support experience.  You will organize and expediate the flow of work thru the Chief People Officer, and prepare both routine and non-routine special reports, including analyzing and summarizing data.  You will also work to prepare presentations to explain complex concepts, establish and maintain highly confidential information as well as manage the calendar, schedule meetings and arrange domestic and international travel.  Also, you will draft correspondence, assist with budget management responsibilities and perform other duties, as needed.  This is a high profile, and demanding role, with excellent cross-company exposure, and promotional potential.  It is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and talented high performer.


Your responsibilities will include supporting the Chief People Officer by handling a wide variety of situations involving the administrative functions of the office and assist with various ad-hoc projects.  You will also prepare routine and non-routine special reports and presentations including researching, gathering and summarizing highly complex and confidential data and compose written descriptions of results, prepare presentations and make recommendations as appropriate.  Also, assist in budget preparation and control activities and coordinate the collection and preparation and control activities, as well as coordinate the collection and preparation of operating reports.  It is also incumbent upon you to exemplify the Western Union behaviors in day to day administrative responsibilities and exchanges with WU employees. You will also help prepare the compose correspondence and establish and maintain highly confidential files and records, receive and screen incoming phone calls and email and resolve routine to complex inquires.  It will also be your responsibility to provide insights into corporate policy and interpret and communicate the executive’s intent to other managers, and exercise sound judgement and help to anticipate needs.



The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of performance that involves supporting senior leaders, have the highest level of professionalism, diplomacy, discretion and integrity and have experience in project support.  Also, helpful to have strong prioritization and planning skills and experience supporting high preforming teams, and have experience using Concur or a related planning and expense management tool, with the ability to manage confidential communications and information and the ability to assist in crisis situations and handle tasks outside of normal working hours when required.  Open-minded and change oriented and the ability to build a maintain positive relationships with other assistants and company personnel globally, and the ability to work under ambiguous circumstances, operating successfully with minimal guidance.  Being high energy and flexible with an advanced level of proficiency in MS office including; PowerPoint, Word and Excel.  And lastly being optimistic, persistent, patient, resourceful, results-driven and forward looking with make you an excellent candidate for this role.
