Right now, we are seeking a Country Development Manager (CDM), based in our Montvale, NJ office. In this role, you will focus on the US Outbound business to Latin America and selling into high revenue locations. In this role, you will oversee marketing, sales, and overall independent channel performance including transaction volume, revenue, distribution channel, merchandising, pricing, and promotion.

  • Independently develops, recommends and provides insights, and internally sponsors strategies to RVP to grow transaction and revenue for specific corridors in region.
  • Conducts critical analysis of relevant country, agent, consumer and market business trends, and uses as input to proactively identify areas for growth and development with actionable strategic and tactical recommendations (such as pricing, fx, marketing, etc). 
  • Works closely with Regional Sales team to manage and expand the ethnic agent base for designated corridors/countries in the region, focuses on all class of trade, including independents, ethnic networks, banks, etc. 
  • Acts as central liaison between the Regional team, product, and marketing teams to facilitate effective communication, best practice sharing, establishes operation objectives, and align required internal resources. 
  • Contributes to annual sales quota targets and support new agent recruitment against a Regional ethnic recruitment target. 
  • Actively conducts effective outreach initiatives to serve as WU Liaison with key community leaders in key markets across the region.
  • Coordinates and implements initiatives to continue developing high volume USOB agents.  Supports new agent recruitment and ramp up,  planning and executing street corner pricing initiatives and local marketing and grassroots events. 
  • Regularly tracks and analyzes competitive activities in the market. 
  • Supports market tours in the region.  Primary resource to protect USOB business in the Northeast Region.  

What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 to 5 years equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 7 years experience in outside sales or service of consumer products or financial services. 
  • Bi-Lingual/bi-cultural candidates are desired (some markets required) Multi-lingual, fluent in English and other language relevant to the designated countries.  
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively relate to diverse backgrounds and cultures. 
  • Strong analytical and planning and organizational skills. 

·         Sales negotiation skill and deep understanding of the independent agents.

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Prior money transfer or financial services experience is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment and effectively work across all functions
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical and planning skills
  • Ability to build relationships and trust and possess strong interpersonal skills (standard ones).
