Better requires process discipline and simplification

We’ll be looking to you to lead day-to-day strategy, execution & evaluation of all initiatives at a regional & local level encompassing Business, Network & Platform to elevate knowledge, reputation, brand salience across major stakeholders to achieve transformation & growth goals.  


Your responsibilities will include creating proactive & reactive media relations; organic & paid owned & promoted content.  You’ll create and uphold unique Company points of view and unrivaled leadership of the enterprise.  You’ll  define and lead external agenda of select regional and local representatives in seeking strategic interactions, speeches, engagements and representations.  You'll be serving as the regional and local spokesperson model for effective message delivery.   You'll be overseeing the development and finalization of all materials (speeches, talking points, messages, media releases ) and weekly editorial calendar.  You'll be seeing creative ways to disseminate story telling through channels including media relations, new media platforms, audio visuals and public and community affairs.  Finally, you'll be executing rapid response to issues & crisis communication while working collaboratively with the core communications team.  

For such a pivotal role, you’ll ideally have a bachelor’s degree in a communications, marketing, or business administration and even more desirable, a master’s degree.  You’ll have 15+ years of experience in an international marketing agency, public relations, media, &/or in-house corporate communications, with 5-7 years management experience, leading & coaching teams in multiple geographic locations.  You’ll have proven examples of maintaining strong business acumen and executive presence to navigate all the company spheres, and be able to represent the Chief Communication Officer in her absence.  You’ll be able to provide examples of working in a matrix-organization with cross functional reporting lines as well as supporting individuals in multiple departments, regions and countries.  Must have a mastery with multiple languages including English, Spanish, and more desirable Portuguese. It’s expected that you will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
