We’re seeking Business Analyst based in our Denver Colorado office (Global headquarters) In this role you will act as a liaison between our internal/external business partners and IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet our organizational needs. You will translate high-level and complex business requirements into functional specifications for specific applications. You would manage changes to the requirement/specification documents and educate the IT organization on the direction of the business. You would gather information and document various work processes and information flows. You will evaluate current-state processes and identify areas for improvement within the business support and implementation processes.


What you will need to succeed:

  • Candidate should be able to identify, develop, and implement solutions for various business initiatives that utilize various software applications such as Oracle (EBS, Siebel, OWC, and OBIEE), internally developed Web based app’s (Java/.Net code based), and other COTS app’s (TeamMate, OnDemand, IntelliMatch, Noetix, SWIFT, TWS).
  • Coordinate efforts for multiple projects at once with development, QA, infrastructure, and operational teams.
  • Assist and support end-user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Act as project lead/SME to create milestones, manage resources, coordinate deliverables, and provide ‘best practices’ recommendations.
  • Assist with identifying and documenting data and integration issues and support Integration work streams.
  • Familiarity with Plan-Build-Run model in a Managed Services environment.
  • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with business partners to understand business processes and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Gather detailed business requirements and perform gap analyses, document functional/technical specification documents.
  • Individual must be committed to accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service.
  • Ability to manage PM tools such as Jira and Clarizen using both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
  • Work independently through business analysis and project management methodologies to ensure completion of all assigned deliverables.
  • Execute tasks in accordance with the defined project work plan.
  • Expertise in understanding Dev/QA estimates.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Perform other project-related tasks, as requested.

What will make you stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably STEM related (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) or Accounting/Finance.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience as a Business Analyst, Software Developer, or QA Analyst.
  • Exposure to, or experience in, designing and engineering Oracle EBS accounting and procurement modules including GL, FA, AR, AP, iProcurement, iSupplier, and E-Business Tax is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Exposure to EPBCS and Hyperion EPM apps such as Essbase, HFM and WFP is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle database query tools such as Toad and SQL+ is a plus.
  • Experience with regulatory standards like PCI, SOX, GDPR, and SOC is a plus.
