We’re seeking an Auditor in Internal Audit department, based in our Vilnius, Lithuania office.

You will be a part of the Group Internal Audit team reporting to the Senior Manager, Internal Audit (based in Vilnius, Lithuania). The position will contribute to the scoping and execution of Western Union Global Payments and Western Union International Bank (WUIB), plus other global audits. 

You will provide assurance through review and assessment of the control framework operating within various Western Union regulated / statutory entities. Evaluate the implementation of policies, procedures, and that an appropriate compliance culture is being followed by the business. As a member of the Internal Audit team in a Global company, assurance will be provided primarily for the European region (with particular focus on Austria and the UK), with support also given to the North American and Asia Pacific regions. Travel of approximately 15% could be required.

• Assist in the development of the Audit Plan and take responsibility for execution / delivering work in line with it;
• Work as an effective team member by communicating relevant issues and follow through on issues encountered;
• Collaborate with business partners to balance business strategy with risk management controls;
• Work closely with the Internal Audit Data Analytics team to develop testing strategies, highlight possible data analytics opportunities and drive efficiencies in testing from the use of data analytics; and
• Perform audit testing, with appropriate supervision over various process areas (accounting, anti-money laundering, front / middle and back office operations etc);
• Preparing reports to the business / audit management detailing the results of testing performed and timely completion of associated work papers;
• Work with the business to obtain issue updates and track the ability to meet stated deliverable dates.

• Professional, enthusiastic and results focused individual. Proactive approach, sound judgment and detail oriented;
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to positively function within in a team-oriented environment, as well as establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally.
