We’re seeking a Corporate Hedging professional based in our Singapore office. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Hedging (APAC), the primary purpose of this position is customer focused to obtain a clear understanding of their FX needs and then matching a hedging solution to support their business from the full range of available hedging solutions (FX Forward and FX Options). More specifically, the incumbent is responsible for supporting revenue generation from hedging products with both new and existing clients. Upselling of Hedging opportunities (both Forward and FX Options) in a manner that is consistent with the global business development objectives.

 

The Role - Associate Director of Corporate Hedging

  • Work closely with a mix of Listed and Unlisted Corporates and SME clients to gain a complete understanding of their businesses, their FX requirements, risk profile and goals.
  • Develop strategic hedging solutions which are tailored to customer’s needs and requirements, then present the solution to key stakeholders within their organization.
  • Pricing and structuring of FX Options, FX Forwards and NDF’s.
  • Provision of Term Sheets, Exposure Visibility (EV) and pricing specific hedging structures and presenting them to the client
  • Educate and upskill the existing team members to become more understanding of the FX hedging solution set.
 

What you will need to succeed:

  • Minimum 5 – 7 years working with foreign exchange or within the financial/banking industry is essential.
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years managing customer relationships is essential
  • Previous experience in selling foreign exchange options to corporate clients and exemplary customer service skills with a focus on building customer loyalty is essential
  • B2B sales experience is essential
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal skills
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Mandarin language skills is an advantage
