We’re seeking an Assistant Manager for Marketing, based in our Taguig office. In this role, you will assist in the annual planning to develop and execute marketing plans and programs in coordination with other business units and key functional areas. Your will analyze data on the organization's existing and potential markets to recommend, develop, and implement marketing plans and define marketing opportunities for the organization's products and services.

  • Work in partnership with the senior manager and the head of XBS to agree the marketing strategy for a specific partner
  • Develop strong relationship with regional / local marketing stakeholders to input into the global strategy for the platform launch, act as a brand guardian to ensure strict adherence to our brand guidelines, and apply local insights to individual market launches that supports how individual markets will launch without deviating from the agreed global strategy
  • Support Regional marketing teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams on all marketing and advertising needs
  • Promote experimentation across markets, documenting and socializing learnings and best practices to constantly optimize our communications strategy and media mix allocation across paid, earned, shared and owned for specific product strategies, in partnership with our Go To Market teams and Corporate Communications, Social Media and PR teams
    • Profile Comms target audience
    • Develop Media mix recommendations (across POE) – partnering with Global Comms & Social to create a holistic view
    • Develop Retailer/agent communication recommendations (if relevant)
    • Deliver key creative assets including development and production for multiple formats
    • Define best practice guidance on how to deliver a successful campaign
    • Recommend measurement principles and suggested KPIs and benchmarks
  • Be a steward of WU brand strategy & creative excellence
  • Manage external agency relationships In line with expected deliverables to meet budgets and deadlines
 
What you will need to succeed
  • At least 5 years of experience leading marketing strategy; building, managing and executing campaigns
  • Educated to university degree level
  • Strong understanding of all areas of marketing communications derived from either agency or client side.
  • Strong problem solving, commercial acumen, analytics and communication skills.
  • Ability to be a company-wide change-agent that influences strategic actions and mindset changes.
  • Experience with integrated communication plans including ATL, BTL, digital, social, loyalty and customer experience
  • Global experience with knowledge of how local culture can challenge the global strategy & creative execution
  • Ability to work under pressure facing multiple deadlines
