Agent Network Sales Executive – Vienna, Austria

Better starts and ends with the customer

We’ll be looking for you to grow the network of Western Union agents (i.e. retail businesses such as shops, travel agents, news agents etc) by signing up new agents and manage relationships with existing agents within your assigned region.  We’ll want you to meet and exceed your sales targets through new agent acquisitions and growing sales in store by managing the end to end sales process. In this role you will be travelling regularly to visit both potential and existing locations and represent Western Union.

 

We’ll need you to have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to negotiate, present and listen to your agents, and build trust and confidence with them. Ideally, you will have previous experience in field sales, account management or business development. We expect you to speak both German and English to business level, and ideally another language of a country neighbouring Austria. You need to have a valid driver’s license.

 

Western Union is changing its current sales operating model for Central Europe and will pool its sales functions, and assign the sales employee to various countries in and around Austria, based on business needs and language skills.

We are under legal obligation to indicate the minimum basic salary, which is EUR 37,500 gross per year for this position plus commission. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.
